Michael Sher
Mr. Sher is South Florida native born in Coral Gables, Florida. He attended The University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction in 1990. Upon graduating Mr. Sher accepted a position with Chase Construction (Miami, Florida) as estimator and project manager overseeing multi-million dollar projects (Office Corporate Headquarters, Miami International Airport Terminal, Port of Miami Office/Terminal/Parking Garage, High End Boat Building Facilities, Special Use Warehousing, Luxury Waterfront High Rise Residential Apartments, Shopping and Entertainment Venues). Upon ascertaining this vast array of construction exposure Mr. Sher acquired a State of Florida General Contractors License – GCG 059004.
Mr. Sher relocated to Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina with his wife (Duke University Resident Physician). While in North Carolina, Mr. Sher worked for Turner Construction Company. Mr. Sher was responsible for overseeing the Turner-North Carolina operations and on-going large scale projects. While with Turner Mr. Sher fostered new accounts and professional relationships which include Cable & Wireless Communications (Herdon, Virginia) and Microsoft Corporation (Seattle, Washington). These relationships lead to Turner performing the construction management for these firms on a national level.
Mr. Sher returned back to South Florida and joined a local real estate development firm. The development program was to perform both real estate development and general construction management in order to maximize the time and cost efficiency for project investors. The outcome of this program was the successful completion of a multi-family custom home development, a luxury residential condominium and a class “A” office project. All of these projects benefited from a one source developer/builder organization.
Recently, Mr. Sher Co-Founded MAS Development Corporation and Logic Builders, Inc. The dual firm focus is to provide the market with niche residential and commercial development and construction management. MAS and Logic Builders follow a proven formula by performing both the development and construction management for their projects. Mr. Sher’s background knowledge and direct involvement is a key element in the success of the corporate operations and the success of the individual projects. |
