Joel Eidelstein

Mr. Eidelstein is currently a Partner of Rivo Alto Partners, LLC.  Rivo Alto Partners is a financial advisory/asset management firm to various high net worth individuals and small-to-mid cap sized companies.  Over the past several years, Rivo Alto Partners has concentrated on the identification, purchase, and disposition of various credit-tenant/income-producing properties on behalf of its clients. Over this period, Mr. Eidelstein was directly responsible for the structure, acquisition, management, and disposition of various income-producing properties on behalf of its clients. 

In 2004, Mr. Eidelstein formed Rivo Alto Developer’s Equity Fund, LP with the mandate to directly invest equity in third party real estate development projects. As of June 2008, The Fund has invested and returned all of its capital and returned in excess of a 21% annual return net of fees. Currently, Mr. Eidelstein is the managing director of Rivo Alto Real Estate Opportunity Fund, LP which was funded in September 2008 for the direct purpose of purchasing individuals loans on problem real estate.

Mr. Eidelstein also served as Director and President of IFX Corporation.  Mr. Eidelstein directly managed over 25 acquisitions throughout Latin America and had direct oversight responsibility for approximately 500 employees and 20 operations in 10 countries.  From June 2000 through March 2003, Mr. Eidelstein successfully raised over $120 million in equity for IFX.  The lead investor in these private equity transactions was UBS Capital.  Mr. Eidelstein was directly responsible for reporting functions to UBS Capital and the Board of Directors of IFX.  In addition from 2002-2003, Mr. Eidelstein served an additional function as Chief Financial Officer of IFX, which at that time was a publicly listed company on NASDAQ with full public company reporting responsibilities.
